The Autism and Communication Center (ACC) promotes practices that support inclusive schools and communities based on the notion of presumed competence for autistic students and adults. ACC empowers individuals to choose and use alternative forms of communication in order to realize their educational and civic potential and to become meaningfully included in school and community settings.

This year alone, we are dedicating $50,000 raised from donations to create a comprehensive training program for educators in school settings to support communication needs of nonspeaking autistic students.
