Through the generosity of two Regents, the Office of Talent, Culture, and Diversity was able to sponsor the Black History Month events as well as contribute to the Land Intentions with Indigenous Educators this year.
The Office has plans to promote more DEI educational events on campus through campus mini-grants, grow the HSI programs to serve more students of color, and support the development of the new Ethnic and Race studies program (ERS).
The new ERS program creates innovative enriching opportunities for students in leadership and service through meaningful social justice community engagement.
Our Commitment to DEI
Aligned with our University mission, the faculty and staff at Cal Lutheran are called and empowered to challenge barriers that limit human potential as we prepare students to lead a life of meaning and purpose in pursuit of socially-just communities.
