The DREAMers fund was created to help all students throughout their time at Cal Lutheran. Through this fund, students can apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) for the first time or renew their DACA. DACA allows our students to obtain a work authorization and qualify for things such as working on campus.
Additionally, this year a group of students will be pioneers for Cal Lutheran as we take our first group of DREAMer students on an international trip to Guanajuato, Mexico! The students attending this trip are first-generation college students for whom the cost of the trip is an extreme barrier. These students have not traveled internationally and are looking to learn about their own or different cultures through an immersive experience.
DREAMer Fund gifts, regardless of size, make a difference and touch every corner of the Cal Lutheran campus. When one contribution to the DREAMers Fund is combined with hundreds of others, the impact is significant and helps make the impossible possible – let’s Reach for the Stars!
