Although California Lutheran University might not offer an education abroad program at the International Space Station, the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is reaching for the stars in our internationalization efforts!
The Global Engagement Fund supports educational programming, experiential learning, and international opportunities that enrich global perspectives on campus and beyond. The Fund is used to help provide students with opportunities to study abroad on six continents, engage with people of different cultures, and take part in educational outreach activities.
International education initiatives do not stop during a global pandemic. The CGE is devoted to infusing global learning and perspectives into the academic and co-curricular experience at Cal Lutheran, no matter what obstacles stand in the way. Most recently to overcome barriers, the Global Engagement Fund has been a resource for education abroad and international students addressing COVID-related crises: From supporting resources for food and shelter to offsetting flight and service fees.
Help us reinforce Cal Lutheran’s commitment to internationalization by sharing a donation. Your choice to support the Center for Global Engagement as part of the Cal Lutheran Cares Day is appreciated!
Thank you for your contribution to our mission of educating leaders for a global society.
