Center for Economic Research & Forecasting

The School of Management’s Center for Economic Research & Forecasting (CERF) is an award winning, nationally-recognized forecasting center and a member of the prestigious Wall Street Journal Economic Forecasting survey. In addition to winning 3-consecutive Zillow Crystal Ball Awards for most accurate U.S. Home price forecast, CERF is home to the nationally-acclaimed Latino GDP research.

The Latino GDP Project is an ambitious effort to document the large and rapidly growing economic contribution of Hispanic/Latinos living in the United States. To date, the Project includes 5 annual U.S. Reports, along with state- and Metro-Area reports. This narrative-changing research has been presented live to more than 12,500 people in ten different states and has been the subject of more than 120 features across print, electronic and broadcast media, including in The Wall Street Journal, NBC News, CNBC, Axios, the Hill, and Telemundo.

The Center for Economic Research & Forecasting seeks to be a solutions-oriented organization, providing world-class economic forecast publications and working with diverse stakeholders to address the major economic challenges of the day. CERF is also financially self-supported. Impactful initiatives like the Latino GDP Project depend entirely on the generosity of sponsors. Your contribution to the Center for Economic Research & Forecasting will enable the Latino GDP Project and a number of Ventura County specific initiatives to continue into 2024. Please sponsor CERF today!

Between 7 am and 3 pm, all gifts made to CERF will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, thanks to the generosity of an Anonymous donor.
