Cal Lutheran students could use your support now more than ever. In the weeks since we started to work and study at home, we have learned that the pandemic is having an impact that no one could have expected, much less anticipated - students and their families find themselves facing job loss and financial insecurity. It is becoming evident that without increased support for tuition, housing, supplies and other costs, many Cal Lutheran students may not be able to continue to pursue their degrees.
We are rallying around our Cal Lutheran community in this time of crisis and, this year during Cal Lutheran Cares Day, we are lifting up three immediate ways that you can support students today:
- The Annual Fund helps to fund important scholarships to help bridge the gap of growing financial need for students.
- The Cal Lutheran Relief Fund was established to accept donations on behalf of CLU students who have suffered loss and help them start healing.
- Emergency Support Scholarship was established to support any student facing hardship who has an outstanding account balance at California Lutheran University.
The Federal CARES Act, while helpful, will still leave many students with unmet needs. Generous donors like you will help our students receive immediate support with no need for repayment.
Thank you for supporting Cal Lutheran students on Cal Lutheran Cares Day to ensure they stay safe and well.
