COVID-19 Relief for Cal Lutheran Students
This year during Cal Lutheran Cares Day, we are lifting up three immediate ways that you can support students experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19:
- The Annual Fund helps to fund important scholarships to help bridge the gap of growing financial need for students.
- The Cal Lutheran Relief Fund provides immediate financial support to students experiencing unexpected hardship. Cal Lutheran established this fund to accept donations on behalf of students who have exhausted their options and need help with unforeseen emergency expenses.
- Emergency Support Scholarship is a resource for students facing unforeseen financial challenges. Established by generous lead donors, Leanne and George Neilson, this scholarship offers tuition support to all students, regardless of major, who don’t have enough money to complete their Cal Lutheran degrees.
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, while helpful, will still leave many students with unmet needs. Generous donors like you will help our students receive immediate support with no need for repayment.
Thank you for supporting Cal Lutheran students on Cal Lutheran Cares Day to ensure they stay safe and well.
