Student Residential Experience

Residential living provides students with opportunities for learning outside the classroom, encourages interactions with peers who share similar interests, and promotes service-learning and community outreach through various programs and activities in the residence halls.

Cal Lutheran’s three residential, Living-Learning Communities and BRAND-NEW University Themed Houses—the Global Leaders Community, the STEM Living-Learning Community, the University Honors Program Living-Learning Community, and the six University Themed Houses—are specialized living environments that capitalize on the opportunity to help students discover their purpose and passions. Specialized communities like living-learning communities and themed houses help improve student retention and academic success, provide specialized and unique opportunities for student, faculty, and staff engagement, and foster friendships among students that last well beyond collegiate years.

Your gift to the Student Residential Experience allows us to provide student-centered programming, service-learning projects, and co-curricular experiences for our Living-Learning Communities and University Themed Houses. It also allows us to enhance student living spaces with upgraded furniture, technology, and outdoor gathering spaces. Our residential students and Residence Life team are so grateful for your support.
