Did you know?
- Nearly 97% of all Cal Lutheran students this year received a scholarship or grant.
- In fall 2021, 37% of traditional undergraduates at the University received Pell Grants, awarded solely based on financial need.
The need for scholarships is great. At a time when many families are questioning the value of higher education, scholarships tip the balance. They open the door for students so they can experience the gift of a Cal Lutheran education and make it possible for our graduates to pursue their careers with more financial freedom. Without scholarships and higher education, opportunities for these talented students would be limited.
“I come from a low-income, Hispanic family that is not able to financially support my education. Thanks to Cal Lutheran's generous donors, I’m very grateful to have received four years of scholarships that have paid over 95% of my tuition, room and board, and textbook costs. This financial support has given me the opportunity to excel in my classes, be involved in extracurriculars, achieve my goals, and graduate with my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Professions this spring."
